We have worked with the devs on integrating the group video calling feature and is almost completed. Why is the group video calling feature important? In this part of the world, video calling has played an essential part in personal and business communications. That's why, it would be a huge deal when we get communication approvals which will result in massive of spike in user base on our platform which is a good thing. We are launching a completely new and modern SDK for this feature to enhance group video calling experience, and it's all thanks to our devs who are constantly working with us to make it happen.
There were a couple of issues that were faced by a few users with the iOS "version 16" and this is almost resolved.
Here's what we did:
We conducted a few more rounds of tests on several iOS models with different OS versions and we found out that our app works on other OS versions but not with iOS 16 models. This will be resolved ASAP.
This is why we needed to take time to give you an update because devts had to test on all other versions and other iphone models. So far, we have found the solution to it, and working on the fix. Hopefully within a week or two, all issues will be resolved on OS 16 and we will share the patched update as soon as it's fixed.
Moreover, the app works smoothly on other OS versions but there were other bugs along with such as a slight lag, screen response delay which has been rectified as well and will be sent as a patched update.
Further to the KYC issue, our KYC provider SumSub has made a recent upgrade with their SDK which required us to migrate to it and affected both the iOS and Android builds due to incompatibility with our platform. However, we have worked with our devs and found a solution to it. We resolved this particular issue with our iOS build and we will continue to finish the fix for the Android build.
Due to this, a few issues on the profile image on iOS were found and was resolved immediately. our team is currently working with the devs to fix the issue on Android and we'll be sending the patch update shortly.
As you all know, our system is quite complex, with the blockchain and social aspects, that is way its taking time as we have to test the app out on every supported devices and supported OS versions for a cleaner, smoother app experience.
Coming to DEX Listing -
KYC is a main priority and can run into Trouble with the SCA UAE. They have signed agreements with various Authorities concerning crypto / crypto centers. For now, Dex is in the grey area and there are companies who are listed on DEX waiting for better clarity and others have opted out of Dex just to be safe and we are one of them because one fine day, and anything can happen. Generally, companies whose main license are granted from external countries and the UAE license is secondary, have opted to stay on Dex because it's much easier for them. Nevertheless, we will pursue to list on Dex at our best available opportunity.
Yes, Crypto & Blockchain is the future but meeting regulations and KYC requirements is the way to go mainstream or partner with mainstream companies 🤝
Off lately, we have been supper busy connecting with authorities as we are pursuing for Approvals related to communications and connecting with other blockchain-related organizations to further add value & services to compliment our exciting platform.
